1Liga top team - Gornik (22-6) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighteenth ranked Start 2 (1-26) in Walbrzych 104-67. Gornik forced 23 Start 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 44-24 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Start 2's players. The winners were led by Adrian Sobkowiak (184-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 assists and guard Bartosz Majewski (193-1997) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Five Gornik players scored in double figures. Even 23 points by Norbert Ziolko (189-1999) did not help to save the game for Start 2. Guard Michal Grzesiak (194-2004) added 14 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gornik have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-6 record. Start 2 lost nineteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games.
