Regular Season Round 21: T71 - Etzella 76-75

The most exciting game of round 21 in the LBBL took place in Dudelange. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th placed Etzella (14-7) to third ranked T71 (15-5) 76-75 in the game for the third place. American guard Jimmie Taylor (193-1994, college: Rider) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Moses Greenwood (201-1997, college: SE Louisiana) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Taylor is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four T71 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Lamar Mallory (201-1990, college: GSC) with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Philippe Gutenkauf (183-1995) scored 21 points. T71 maintains third place with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader Amicale. Etzella at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. T71 are looking forward to face league's leader Amicale in Steinsel in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Etzella will play at home against Grengewald and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
