Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Diba Ankara and 12th ranked Manisa had identical 7-15 record. But Manisa was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Ankara 73-67 on Sunday night. It was a great evening for DR Congolese center Mireille Muganza (185-1990) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds. Beril Arik (-1994) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Diba Ankara players scored in double figures. American center Tearra Banks (188-1995, college: Austin Peay) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and Pelin Kuccuk (172-1990) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Manisa's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Diba Ankara (8-15) moved-up to eleventh place. Manisa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Diba Ankara will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Manisa will play on the road against Elazig Il (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
