No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Kirklareli (15-8) defeated at home 15th ranked Emlak 2 (6-17) 78-74 on Friday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Kirklareli made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Emlak 2 outrebounded Kirklareli 49-28 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Aliyah Mazyck (175-1996, college: USC) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 8 rebounds and guard Rabia Celebi (167-1985) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Milena Marjanovic (193-1991) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and Sila Kaya (-2001) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Emlak 2's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Kirklareli maintains fifth position with 15-8 record. Emlak 2 lost third consecutive game. Emlak 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifteenth place with 17 games lost. Kirklareli will meet higher ranked Botas GA (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Emlak 2's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Fenerbahce G..
