Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked MuKi (6-14) lost to eighth ranked Kataja Ta. (12-9) in Helsinki 73-91 on Sunday. The game without a history. Kataja Ta. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to MuKi's 46. They outrebounded MuKi 40-28 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kataja Ta. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Camron Reece (201, college: Talladega) nailed a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds for the winning side and guard Otto Frilander (186-2002) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds. Center Alexander Aglassinger (198-2001) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Robin Avist (191-2000) added 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for MuKi in the defeat. MuKi's coach Enzo Kaminen rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kataja Ta. moved-up to seventh place. Loser MuKi keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Kataja Ta. will meet at home Pyrinto Ak.B (#11) in the next round. MuKi will play against Korinokia in Nokia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
