Not a big story in a game in Frankfurt where 9th ranked Kangaroos (8-13) were outplayed by third ranked Skyliners II (13-8) 100-78 on Saturday. Skyliners II forced 27 Kangaroos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kangaroos' players. It was a great evening for forward Justin Onyejiaka (195-2004) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Jordan Samare (202-2002) helped adding 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Skyliners II's coach Sepehr Tarrah felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Teathloach Pal (206-1997, college: Sioux Falls) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Lucas Mayer (185-1999) scored 18 points and 7 assists. Five Skyliners II and four Kangaroos players scored in double figures. Skyliners II have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 13-8 record having five points less than leader Koblenz, which they share with Rhoendorf. Newly promoted Kangaroos keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Skyliners II will meet OrangeAcademy (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kangaroos will play against Coburg and hope to secure a win.
