Regular Season Round 27: Tarn.Gory - MKS DG 2 53-84

Everything could happen in Tarnowskie Gory at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked MKS DG 2 and 9th ranked Tarn.Gory had identical 12-14 record. But Tarn.Gory was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Dabrowa Gornicza 84-53 on Saturday night. MKS DG 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Tarn.Gory's 32. MKS DG 2 forced 20 Tarn.Gory turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for guard Kacper Margiciok (191-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Kacper Indyk (200) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. Forward Nikodem Kowalski (200-1995) came up with 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Oliwier Panek (180-2005) added 12 points respectively for Tarn.Gory in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MKS DG 2 (13-14) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Slask 3 and Klodzko. Loser Tarn.Gory keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. MKS DG 2 will meet at home Czeladz (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tarn.Gory will play against AZS PC (#16) in Czestochowa and hope to secure a win.
