Very predictable result when Belgian Okapi Aalst won against on the road Dutch Amsterdam 106-90 on Saturday. Okapi Aalst looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Montenegrin Ivan Maras (207-1986) notched 22 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and American point guard Jordan Walker (186-1997, college: Morehead St.) supported him with 25 points. Even a double-double of 23 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists by Lithuanian Deividas Kumelis (188-1995) did not help to save the game for Amsterdam. Point guard Jacopo Bertotti (183-2001) added 19 points for the hosts. Five Okapi Aalst and four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. Amsterdam's coach let to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Okapi Aalst will meet at home Den Helder in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Amsterdam will play against Circus Brussels and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
