There was an upset when higher ranked Sangiorgese (12-11) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Oleggio (9-14) 78-73 on Saturday. Oleggio made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Oleggio had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Tommaso Ingrosso (206-1992, college: W.Texas CC) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Matteo Maruca (185-1997) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Forward Sebastiano Bianchi (197-1992, agency: SLN) came up with 28 points and 6 rebounds and Leonardo Biancotto (194-2002) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Sangiorgese in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Oleggio moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Teramo and Trinita.
