Very expected game in Salamanca where 13th ranked Tormes (7-17) was defeated by sixth ranked Zamora (13-11) 80-70 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Evan Yates (198-1991, college: Ashland) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Luke Moyer (185-1993, college: John Brown, agency: Players Group) who added 19 points during the contest. Yates is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Zamora players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Kevin Navarro (183-1992, agency: Promo Sport ID) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and guard Acoydan McCarthy (197-1999) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Tormes' coach Oscar Nunez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zamora maintains sixth position with 13-11 record, which they share with Cornella and Ponferrada.
