Round in NM1 means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Poitiers where host Poitiers (4-3) edged league's leader SPO Rouen (5-2) 85-82 on Tuesday evening. Poitiers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by SPO Rouen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Alexis Dargenton (203-1994, college: Utah St.) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American Courtney Stockard (196-1995, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 21 points. Four Poitiers players scored in double figures. American-Jamaican Andell Cumberbatch (195-1993, college: St.Bonaventure) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Moroccan power forward Mohamed Choua (202-1992) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. SPO Rouen's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Poitiers have a solid series of four victories in a row.
