Regular Season Round 28: Ensino - IDK Eustotren 73-69

There was a small surprise in Lugo where thirteenth ranked Ensino (12-17) defeated 11th ranked IDK Eustotren (12-17) 73-69 on Sunday. They outrebounded IDK Eustotren 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Alba Prieto (180-1999, college: S.Florida) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Paula Ginzo (187-1998) who added 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Ensino's coach Antonio Pernas used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side swingman Maria Espana (180-1992) responded with 20 points (made all of her eight free throws) and Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (192-1997, agency: Areus Sports) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four IDK Eustotren players scored in double figures. Ensino moved-up to tenth place, which they share with IDK Eustotren and Bembibre. Ensino will meet higher ranked Gernika (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. IDK Eustotren will play against the league's leader Valencia (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
