The most surprising game was a loss of Maccabi Tel-Aviv (21-4) in Tel Aviv on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Galil Elion (13-13) 94-83. 26 personal fouls committed by Maccabi Tel-Aviv helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American forward Bryce Washington (201-1996, college: Louisiana) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Nimrod Levi (208-1995, agency: Avi Zilberman) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Jake Cohen (209-1990, college: Davidson) answered with 16 points and the former international guard John DiBartolomeo (183-1991, college: Rochester) added 12 points in the effort for Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
