There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Ravenna (5-7) edged at home 5th ranked Monferrato (5-7) 78-76 on Sunday. Ravenna forced 20 Monferrato turnovers. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-1993, college: Richmond) who scored 15 points and 4 assists. Naturalized Argentinian guard Bernardo Musso (193-1986, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 14 points. Four Ravenna players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Kodi Justice (199-1995, college: Arizona St.) who recorded 24 points and the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-1989) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Ravenna moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Monferrato and Rieti Kienergia. Monferrato lost third consecutive game.
