Strangely Faenza outrebounded Rieti Real 43-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Faenza was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marco Contento (191-1991) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 4 assists and swingman Nicola Mastrangelo (196-1998) who added 11 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Simone Aromando (200-1997, agency: SLN) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian guard Sebastian Vico (190-1986) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
