Regular Season Round 3: MKS DG 2 - Iskra Cz 98-96

A very close game took place in Dabrowa Gornicza (derby !!!) between MKS and Iskra Cz. MKS (2-1) got a very close home victory over Iskra Cz (2-1). MKS managed to escape with a 2-point win 98-96 in the fight for the third place. MKS outrebounded Iskra Cz 43-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Kacper Indyk (200-2004) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Kacper Dziedzic (188-2003) helped adding 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. MKS's coach Wojciech Wieczorek used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Adrian Placzek (182-1985) with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Ukrainian swingman Yaroslav Fomichov (196-1994) scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Iskra Cz players scored in double figures. MKS will meet UR Krakow (#7) on the road in the next round. Iskra Cz will play against Resovia (#10) and hope to secure a win.
