Very predictable result when third ranked Polonia (6-1) rolled over 10th ranked MKS (3-5) in Dabrowa Gornicza 99-74 on Sunday. Polonia dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MKS's 36. It was an exceptional evening for Michal Krawiec (195-1997) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Center Filip Pruefer (208-1996) accounted for 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Swingman Kacper Indyk (200-2004) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and center Jakub Wojciechowski (204-2003) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for MKS in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Polonia. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Pruszkow and Bialystok. Loser MKS keeps the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Polonia will meet at home Resovia (#6) in the next round. MKS will play against Cracovia (#4) in Krakow and hope to secure a win.
