Regular Season Round 4: ISB - Almeda 62-53

Very predictable result in Azkoitia where fourth ranked ISB (3-1) beat bottom-ranked Almeda (0-3) 62-53 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Swedish forward Emma Karamovic (184-1996, college: Southeastern) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Juana Molina-Prados (174-1991) who added 15 points (made all of her seven free throws) during the contest. ISB's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Alba Barneda (-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and Dana Peris (-2004) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. ISB have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Almeda still closes the standings with three games lost. ISB will meet Viladecans (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Almeda will play against Castello (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
