Regular Season Round 6: Niksic - Sloga P. 54-113

Rather predictable result when third ranked SerbianSloga (4-2) rolled over on the road bottom-ranked Montenegrin Niksic (0-6) 113-54 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Sloga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Niksic 's 32. Sloga forced 19 Niksic turnovers and outrebounded them 51-15 including a 24-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sloga looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Niksic 's players. American forward Brittiney Seymour (188-2000, college: Shaw) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) to lead the effort and Marina Karalic (182-1994) supported her with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Sloga P. players scored in double figures. Sloga P.'s coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 23 points by swingman Anastasija Begovic (175-2005) did not help to save the game for Niksic . Guard Gordana Gavric (175-2004) added 23 points. Sloga moved-up to second place, which they share with Montana. Loser Niksic still closes the standings with six games lost.
