Rather predictable result when second ranked BulgarianMontana (5-2) smashed at home 5th ranked Bosnian Banovici (1-6) 110-48 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Montana led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Banovici to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 48.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Montana forced 30 Banovici turnovers and outrebounded them 54-39 including 39 on the defensive glass. Montana looked well-organized offensively handing out 38 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Banovici 's players. American guard Taya Robinson (176-1999, college: VCU, agency: Green Sports Management) fired 20 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Her fellow American import forward Addison Richards (188-1998, college: Tulsa) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Montana players scored in double figures. Montana's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Andjela Sipka (186-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and center Ajla Ikanovic (192-1999) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Montana maintains second place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Buducnost. Banovici lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with six games lost.
