There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedYalova Vip (6-7) beat at home 4th placed Adana (9-3) 82-78 on Saturday. Yalova Vip made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Adana turnovers. American guard Kamaria McDaniel (178-1999, college: Michigan St.) nailed 48 points (!!!) and 7 assists for the winning side and forward Asli Sevinc (178-1979) accounted for 4 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. DR Congolese power forward Chanel Mokango (188-1988, college: MSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and Ilknur Yildizhan (186-1996) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Adana in the defeat. Adana's coach Mustafa Ongun gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Yalova Vip have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Emlak 2 and Cerkezkoy. Newly promoted Adana keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
