Amager 's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 11 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Herlev (2-9) 98-96 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Amager especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Andrew Sims (198, college: Stonehill) notched 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-1999) supported him with 28 points. Even a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds by American swingman Jaden Dewar-Edwards (198-1999, college: Humboldt St.) did not help to save the game for Herlev . Swingman Carlo Urne (195-2000) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Four Herlev players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Amager maintains eleventh position with 1-11 record. It was Herlev 's third loss in a row. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost.
