Regular Season Round 9: PAOK - Eunikos 68-63

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Eunikos' (2-7) road loss to eighth ranked PAOK (4-5) in Thessaloniki 63-68 on Sunday. American guard Morgan Jones (188-1999, college: Louisville) nailed a double-double by scoring 32 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Chrysoula Kilazidou (172-1997) accounted for 8 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. American center Mya Berkman (190, college: Liberty) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and power forward Nefeli Stoupa (184-1999) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Eunikos in the defeat. PAOK moved-up to seventh place. Loser Eunikos dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. PAOK will meet higher ranked Proteas (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eunikos will play against Eleutheria M. (#4) in Athens and hope to secure a win.
