National League top team -E.Ashkelon (6-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked M.Haifa (1-5) 102-90 . E.Ashkelon made 25-of-29 charity shots (86.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a quality performance for naturalized Polish point guard Nimrod Tishman (197-1991, agency: Avi Zilberman) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 assists. Swingman Eliad Tal (198-2002) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four E.Ashkelon players scored in double figures. Point guard Amit Alon (180-2000) came up with 28 points and 4 assists and American forward Brandon Bowman (206-1984, college: Georgetown) added 24 points and 6 rebounds respectively for M.Haifa in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.Ashkelon maintains first place with 6-1 record. M.Haifa lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with M.Rishon.
