Seventh-rankedCopenhagen (6-9) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Naestved (12-3) on Thursday. The visitors from Naestved managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81 . However their fans expected easier game. American-Puerto Rican guard Eric Ayala (198-1999, college: Maryland) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and American-Dominican guard EJ Dambreville (191, college: FSC) chipped in 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American power forward Durell Vinson (199-1985, college: Wagner) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the former international swingman Martin Poulsen (195-1998, college: Mt.St.Mary's) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Copenhagen's coach Jesper Krone rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Naestved have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Horsens IC and Svendborg. Copenhagen at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost.
