This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to eighth ranked M.Haifa (2-6) 90-66 on Monday evening. M.Haifa dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to ASA Jerusalem 's 30. M.Haifa forced 29 ASA Jerusalem turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by international point guard May Revahe (167-2002) who scored that evening 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and guard Tamar Singer (166-2004) supported her with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Four M.Haifa players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by forward Tamar Bar Gal (180-2002) did not help to save the game for ASA Jerusalem . Guard Daniela Ben Avi (168-2005) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. M.Haifa maintains eighth position with 2-6 record. Loser ASA Jerusalem still closes the standings with eight games lost. M.Haifa will meet at home higher ranked H.Jerusalem (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ASA Jerusalem will play against H.Rishon LZ (#6) in Rishon Le-Zion and hopes to get finally their first victory.
