There was no surprise when 10th rankedH.Gilboa Galil (5-8) was crushed on the road by third ranked E.Netanya (8-5) 80-60 on Saturday. E.Netanya forced 21 H.Gilboa Galil turnovers and outrebounded them 43-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Guard Omer Poleg (185-1999) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ariel Isaac (197-2003, agency: Avi Zilberman) chipped in 16 points during the contest. Five E.Netanya players scored in double figures. Point guard Daniel Gueta (188-2003) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Roey Netzia (197-1997) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. E.Netanya maintains third position with 8-5 record having just three points less than leader M.Rehovot. H.Gilboa Galil lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Ramat Hash. and H.Safed Galil.
