This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 16th consecutive match to fifth ranked Ramat Hasharon (10-6) 94-64 on Monday evening. Ramat Hasharon forced 24 ASA Jerusalem turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The former international point guard Dor Saar (165-1999, college: MTSU) nailed 30 points and 5 assists for the winning side and American forward Shae Kelley (185-1991, college: Minnesota) accounted for 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Ramat Hasharon's coach Roie Levin felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized American guard Sydney Zambrotta (175-1997, college: GWU) came up with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Czech center Renata Brezinova (191-1990) added 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for ASA Jerusalem in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ramat Hasharon . They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with M.Ramat Gan. ASA Jerusalem lost their sixteenth game in a row. They still close the standings. Ramat Hasharon will meet at home league's second-placed H.Jerusalem in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ASA Jerusalem will play against M.Haifa (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
