An interesting game forRamat Gan (16-6) which played road game in Tel Aviv against their biggest opponent Hapoel Tel-Aviv (16-5). Third ranked Ramat Gan managed to get a 13-point victory 94-81 . Cameroonian-American forward JP Tokoto (201-1993, college: UNC) stepped up and scored 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and South Sudanese-Australian center Mangok Mathiang (208-1992, college: Louisville) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ramat Gan's coach Shmuel Brenner allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side the former international guard Bar Timor (190-1992, agency: Avi Zilberman) responded with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and Colombian swingman Braian Angola-Rodas (198-1994, college: FSU) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Five M.Ramat Gan and four H.Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Ramat Gan . Newly promoted M.Ramat Gan maintains third place with 16-6 record having just three points less than leader M.Tel-Aviv. H.Tel-Aviv at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. M.Ramat Gan will play against H.Eilat (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Tel-Aviv will play against H.Afula (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
