Villeneuve outrebounded BLMA 49-33 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Villeneuve looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Kamiah Smalls (178-1998, college: JMU) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and international forward Janelle Salaun (186-2001) chipped in 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Villeneuve players scored in double figures.
