Schio players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Puerto Rican-American point guard Arella Guirantes (181-1997, college: Rutgers) notched 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and Czech center Julia Reisingerova (194-1998) supported her with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Even 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Slovakian center Ivana Jakubcova (198-1994, college: USC) did not help to save the game for Ragusa. The former international swingman Laura Spreafico (183-1991) added 19 points for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
