The game had a very big importance for second-ranked MontenegrinBuducnost as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Buducnost defeated 4th placed Bulgarian Montana in Podgorica 75-68 . The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Montana won fourth quarter 20-18 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Jelena Bulajic (179-2007) who scored 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Zorana Radonjic (173-2002) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Buducnost's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Kiana Johnson (172-1993, college: Virginia Union) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and power forward Mikaela Damyanova (190-2003) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Buducnost have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Celje. Montana at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Partizan.
