In the Vijfmeihal on Saturday night, ZZ Leiden gave new head coach Toon van Helfteren his 1st win on the ZZ bench with a convincing 82-67 win over Hanzevast Capitals. ZZ put the clamps on Hanzevast in the 1st half, leading Hanzevast 41-23 at the half and it snowballed from there. ZZ Leiden were led by Cedric McGowan (198-F-85, agency: Court Side, college: Cincinnati) with a game-high 25 pts. ZZ also shot 67.6% FG and had a 41-31 rebounding advantage. ZZ Leiden are now 3-11.
