In Den Helder, BlueStream Seals put up a big challenge vs. battle tested Eclipse Jet/MG, jumping to leads of 24-14 in the 1st quarter (28-20 at the end of the 1st quarter) and 42-32 midway through the 2nd quarter. But in the end the defending Dutch champions found their stride, with strong play in the 3rd by Dutch international making a difference, helping Eclipse Jet/MG cruise to an 102-87 win. Center van Paassen helped Eclipse Jet/MG go on a 12-0 run midway the 3rd that led to Eclipse Jet/MG gain a lead of 72-63 at the end of the quarter. From then on, coupled with BlueStream plagued by foul trouble, the game tempo belonged to the defending Dutch champs. Orien Greene (193-G-82, agency: Arik Krayn Services, college: La-Lafayette) led Eclipse Jet/MG with 21 pts. with Peter Van Paassen (210-C/F-78, agency: Court Side, college: St.Bonaventure) adding 16 pts.
