Regular Season Round 23: Rotterdam - Leeuwarden 89-62

In the Topsportcentrum, the team of Rotterdam Challengers head coach Terence Stansbury put the clamps once again on Aris Friesland, jumping on them early (23-13 at the end of the 1st quarter, 50-35 halftime) and it snowballed from there, winning in an 89-62 blowout. The Rotterdammers have won all three matchups this season vs. Aris Friesland by at least a 10-point margin. Aris shot only numbers of 42.5% FG and only 2 of 11 from the three-point line, as well as coughing up the ball 24 times vs. the vaulted Rotterdam defense. Rotterdam ace Bobby Walker found his groove, scoring a game-high 26 pts., including 4 three-pointers. Matt Bauscher led Aris with 18 pts. The Rotterdammers continue to creep closer to the top of the FEB standings, improving to 12-8. (by Sanders Jackson)
