Saturday night in FEB action, defending Dutch champions Eclipse Jet/MyGuide dodged a bullet in the Martiniplaza vs. Hanzevast Capitals, breaking their hears and winning in overtime by the score of 87-84. Hanzevast held a slim lead near the end of regulation but in the end the defending Dutch champions proved to be the better team at handling the pressure. Eclipse Jet/MG had good balanced scoring, were led in scoring by CC Harrison with 20 pts. A good performance by Hanzevast PG Torey Thomas (23 pts., 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals) was wasted. With the win, Eclipse Jet/MG improved their record to 16-2, while Hanzevast falls to 13-8 and dropped its second loss this week. (by Sanders Jackson)
