In the Sporthallen-Zuid, Aris Friesland got off to a strong start vs. Eclipse Jet/MG, leading 28-23 at the end of the 1st quarter, but the momentum would not last, as the defending Dutch champions dominated every quarter from then on, cruising to an 106-76 win. Eclipse Jet/MG shot 63.8% FG, made 12 three-pointers and had 25 assists. Peter Van Paassen Jet/MG players in double figures with 19 pts. Keith Spencer played well fro Aris Friesland, leading all scorers with 23 pts. plus 16 rebounds.
