In the Martiniplaza, hot three-point shooting, execution on offense, ball control and good balanced scoring made a big difference for Hanzevast Capitals, who had little resistance in their defeat of West-Brabant Giants by the score of 98-76. Hanzevast made 10 of 19 three-pointers in the 1st half and made 17 of 34 total. Hanzevast only committed 8 turnovers and had six players in double figures. Rogier Jansen had 17 pts. and 8 assists to lead Hanzevast, Daniel Novak and Sebastien Bellin added16 pts. each, and also combining to make 8 of 10 three-pointers, with Novak making five. In the PG matchup,Torey Thomas helped shut down West-Brabant Giants top scorer Patrick Pope, holding him to only five points and also five turnovers. Tim Blue led the Giants with a game-high 19 pts.
