In Den Helder, ZZ Leiden continues to control its own destiny in the race for the playoffs, holding off a furious rally by the hosts with an 82-79 win over BlueStream Seals. ZZ had a big 1st half, leading 56-32 at halftime, but in the second half BlueStream Seals made a strong comeback, with the guests having the last word. Ronny LeMelle led five ZZ players in double digit scoring with 20 pts. Matt Witt led all scorers with 21 pts. and James Duffey added 19 pts. and 20 rebounds. ZZ moves within one game of Landstede for the 7th plaoff spot and a chance at home on Saturday to gain ground on the playoff race vs. Upstairs Weert. (by Sanders Jackson)
