In Leiden, a strong comeback helped Hanzevast Capitals pull out a close 79-77 win over ZZ Leiden to remain in 3rd place in the FEB standings. The team of Marco van den Berg found themselves down 64-50 at the end of the 4th quarter, but found their second win in the 4th quarter, while ZZ, who were on automatic pilot throughout the first three quarters, found themselves in the 4th quarter flying on empty fumes. Around the 6:30 mark in the 4th quarter two scores by Chaz McCrommon (197-F/G-82, agency: Court Side, college: Robert Morris) and Julian Khazzouh (209-C-86) gave Hanzevast the lead at 71-70 and the upper hand for good. McCrommon led all scorers with 21 pts. with also 12 rebounds. ZZ also had only 8 team assists. Hanzevast remains a half-game ahead of Matrixx Magixx for 3rd place in the standings.
