Semi-Finals Game 1: ABC - Bergen op Zoom 84-72

Saturday in the Sporthallen-Zuid, Eclipse Jet/MG found themselves in a dogfight vs. West-Brabant Giants, were down most of the 1st half until in the 3rd quarter, when they took a 47-45 lead that gave them the lead for good, winning finally 84-72. Eclipse Jet/MG finally found some breathing room with 3 minutes remaining after a Peter Van Paassen basket that gave Eclipse Jet/MG a 68-59 lead. From then on the Giants had no more chance. Orien Greene led Eclipse Jet/MG with 17 pts. and 5 assists, with van Paassen and Teddy Gipson adding 16 pts. each. Aaron Johnson led the Giants with 16 pts. and 10 rebounds. Game #2 will be in Bergen-op-Zoom on Tuesday night. (by Sanders Jackson)
