The Quebradillas Pirates beat the reigning Champions Arecibo Captains 83-74. The Captains took the 1st qtr 24-20. At the end of the 1st half the Pirates were leading 43-36. In the 2nd half the Pirates kept the Captains in check and inflicted the Captains 5th loss of the season. For Quebradillas Marcus Williams scored 17 points followed by Shawn Redhage and Peter John Ramos with 16 points. For Arecibo, Jeff Aubry scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, followed by David Cortes with 17 points. (by Luis Ramirez)
