San Miguel survived in the PBA Finals claiming victory in the sixth game of the best-of-seven series against Ginebra. Gabe Freeman scored 24 points and grabbed 12 boards to lead the Beermen to the vital victory. Danny Ildefonso added 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. San Miguel trailed by two points at the first pause but surged in front to secure a 10-point lead at halftime. The hosts maintained the winning margin throughout the second half clinching a comfortable win at the end. David Noel responded with 16 points, 11 boards and 7 assists for Ginebra. Eric Menk netted 15 points for the Kings in defeat.
