The host of FIBA Asia Championship 2009 registered second consecutive win. After 121-49 against India yesterday, Team China was too strong for Kazakhstan today 74-56 booking a spot for the next stage. On the other side, Kazakhstan fell to 0-2 in this Group (C). Zhizhi Wang was the leading player in victory with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Jianlian Yi followed him with 17 pts and 10 boards, while Shipeng Wang added 15 points. In the loosing squad, Anton Ponomarev delivered 15 points and grabbed 8 boards. Rustam Yargaliyew scored 14.
