Preliminary Round Day 2: BRAZIL - VENEZUELA 87-67

Brazil had no troubles to beat Venezuela in Day 2 of FIBA Americas Championship jumping to 2-0 in Group B. As a reminder, Brazil was too strong for Dominican Republic yesterday. On the other side, Venezuela faced with the first loss (1-1). Leandrinho Barbosa drained 15 points for Brazil. Anderson Verajao had 14 pts and 9 rebounds, while Tiago Splitter and Marcelinho Machado posted 11 pts each. Richard Lugo and Rafael Perez responded with 12 pts apiece in defeat. Hector Romero had 11.
