Martin Osimani drained a triple with 21 seconds to go handing Canada the first loss on FIBA Americas Championship in San Juan. It means that both teams now have the same 2-1 record and both already qualified for the Quarterfinal Round. Puerto Rico is still No.1 in Group A with 3-0. Esteban Batista paced Uruguay with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Martin Osimani scored 12 points and handed out nine assists. Jesse Young shined in Canada with 20 points and eight rebounds. Joel Anthony scored 13, while Carl English helped with 12 pts.
