Preliminary Round Day 5: PUERTO RICO - CANADA 90-70

Puerto Rico finished the first stage at FIBA Americas Championship 2009 with perfect 4-0 record. Of course, Puerto Ricans are No.1 in Group A and they will meet Brazil, Dominican Republic, Argentina and Panama trying to secure the Semifinals. Canada also reached next stage as third ranked team from Group A with 2-2 record. Larry Elias Ayuso and Carlos Arroyo top-scored for the winners with 16 points each. Filiberto Rivera was behind them with 13. Andy Rautins answered with 18 points in the loosing squad. Joel Anthony contributed with double-double, 13 pts and 10 boards.
