Fantastic win by Team Canada in crucial game against Dominican Republic. With this victory Canadians jumped to 3-4, taking the fourth place from Dominicans, what automatically means spot for the Semifinals in San Juan and also for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey! Dominicans ended the competition as No.5. Jermaine Anderson was a key player for Canada in this 'game of the year' with 21 points and 5 assists. Carl English scored 13, while Jesse Young added 2 points less. Luis Flores and Charlie Villanueva delivered 17 pts each in loss. Alfred Horford stopped on 14 pts and 14 rebounds.
