Semi-Finals Game 10: BRAZIL - CANADA 73-65

Brazil outplayed Canada 73-65 advancing to Big Final of FIBA Americas Championship 2009. After 7-game winning streak, Brazilians failed against Puerto Rico yesterday, but they recovered from that defeat and no big troubles to beat Canada. Both teams already booked a ticket for 2010 FIBA World Championship, but now Brazil will play for the Gold against Puerto Rico and Canada will meet Argentina for the Bronze. Leandrinho Barbosa shined in victory with 22 points. Anderson Varejao had 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Marcelinho Machado added 15 pts. In the loosing squad Joel Anthony netted 17 pts and pulled down 8 boards. Andy Rautins scored 12.
