Finals Game 11: PUERTO RICO - BRAZIL 60-61

Brazil is the winner of FIBA Americas Championship 2009! In very exciting Final game Brazilians celebrated 60-61, despite Puerto Rico finished the last quarter with impressive 23-11 and had a chance at the very end. It means that after Gold four years ago in Santo Domingo, Brazil grabbed another one (USA celebrated in 2007). Of course Silver belongs to Puerto Rico and both teams booked a ticket for the 2010 FIBA World Championship. Leandrinho Barbosa once again was a key player in victory scoring 24 points. Tiago Splitter nailed 13 pts and grabbed 9 boards, while all other players in Brazil were below 10. The hosts got 14 points from Carlos Arroyo.
